What’s in My Bag? Recruitment Edition

Recruitment kicks off today and I wanted to do a ‘What’s in my bag?’ post to share what I’ll be hauling around for the next two weekends. I can’t lie I will probably end up carrying two bags but you gotta do what you gotta do right?

Generally, I don’t carry much in my bag, just the standard wallet, keys, sunnies, and a few beauty items, but this weekend is different. Recruitment is kind of like an airplane flight, first date and a job interview all at once so you have to be prepared… for everything.

And I’m all for oversharing (that’s why I have a blog) so here we go!!

The Bag: Free People Slouchy Vegan Tote

Whats inside?

Wallet – So I can buy overpriced coffee

Mints – I will be talking in girls faces all day, good breath is a must.

Lotion – My skin must glow, all day long! Lotion will help.

Hand sanitizer – Recruitment is a breeding ground for disease and I refuse to get sick.

Book – Sad Girls by Lang Leav, in case I have free time.

Notebook and pen – For lists, notes and probably doodling.

Portable charger – In case my iPhone battery betrays me.

Water – 40 oz Hydro Flask, hydrate, hydrate, hydrate!

Snacks – Dried fruit and trail mix, that will keep me full.

Comfy clothes and shoes – I refuse to walk in heels and wear a skirt for longer than I am required to.

Hairbrush– I don’t ever brush my hair but who knows maybe I will? Nope. Oh well gonna bring it

Eyedrops – My contacts dry out, thanks, Arizona.

Deodorant – Gotta keep it fresh

Dry shampoo– Travel sized Living Proof to the rescue.

Makeup bag: chapstick, lipstick, oil blotting sheets, q-tips (for touch-ups), perfume, and  mascara (in case my falsies fail me)
